I cannot say enough good things about Stevens Mortuary. They became more than a funeral home, they became a part of our grieving family, who through their kindness & understanding gave us a spirit that they really cared about my mother and our family and provided the spirit we needed to prepare my mother and our family what we needed for her farewell on earth and to her new life in Heaven!

I want to "Thank You" for all those involved in the Easter Service there yesterday! My daughter and I attended and we were very moved and felt God's presents. I encourage you to continue this tradition. All day it set the tone for what the real meaning of Easter is. Yes He is Risen!

Thanks for your kind and gentle care of Mom. The lipstick was perfect. And Don, my family remarked about the perfect color of the casket. It may have been exactly the same blue that was Dad's. Thanks for seeing that we got that that exact one. As Mother loved the green mountains of East Tennessee, it was especially moving for us that you have arranged to have a tree planted in her memory. It's wonderful to think that another generation will enjoy the beauty and benefit of a wonderful life-supporting tree, lovingly planted by you in her memory. Many thanks for that.
