Webb, William C. (Bill) age 74, of Fairfield Glade, TN passed away after a valiant fight against brain cancer on March 1, 2011. Born on July 8, 1936 in Sevierville, TN, Bill was the son of the late Earl and Jeanette Webb of Knoxville, TN. He was an avid golfer and Tennessee Volunteer fan. He enjoyed visiting the American West, especially Yellowstone National Park. He also served as an air traffic controller in the United States Air Force and was retired from the Library of Congress Motion Picture Lab at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, OH.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death his sister, Delores Smith; grandparents, Charlie and Grace Webb and William �Pink� and Maude Sneed.

Survivors include his wife of 47 years, Matilda Jane Webb of Fairfield Glade; children, Charles (Chuck) Webb and his wife Pamela of West Carrollton, OH and J. Craig Webb and his wife Brady of Driggs, ID; brothers, Clarence Webb and wife Rita of Seymour, TN and Marvin Webb and wife Nora of Powell, TN; grandchildren, Ronnie Mosley (Megan), Holly Berry (Kelly), and Kayleigh Webb of West Carrollton, OH; Mabel Jane Webb and Augustus (Gus) Webb of Driggs, ID; great-grandchildren, Tyler, Trinity and Tallan Berry of West Carrollton, OH and Alexis Mosley of Miamisburg, OH; numerous nieces and nephews.

Family will receive friends from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. Sunday, March 6, 2011 at Stevens Mortuary, 1304 Oglewood Avenue, Knoxville, TN followed by a 3:00 p.m. memorial service with Rev. Robert H. Bean officiating. Military funeral services will be held at East Tennessee Veteran�s Cemetery at 1:30 p.m. on Monday, March 7, 2011. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Hospice House of Cumberland County, 30 East Adams Street, Crossville, TN 38555.
