WILSON, TERRELL – age 76, of Lexington, Virginia, formerly of Knoxville, passed away 10:25 a.m. Friday, July 8, 2011 at Benjamin Borden Healthcare in Lexington.

He was a retired chemistry teacher at Virginia Military Institute, a US Army veteran, and preceded in death by his parents, Ralph and Margaret Wilson; and brother, Randall Wilson.

Survivors: sister-in-law, Jane Wilson; niece Julie Wilson both of Chattanooga; nephew, Brian (Jessica) Wilson of Dayton, Tennessee; six great-nieces and great-nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to Mercy Residential Hospice, 7447 Andersonville Pike, Knoxville, TN 37938.

A memorial service will be held for Mr. Wilson in Lexington, Virginia at a later date.

The family and friends will meet 10:45 a.m. Tuesday at Greenwood Cemetery for a graveside service and interment at 11:00 a.m. with Reverend Wayne Hubbs officiating.

Stevens Mortuary, Oglewood Avenue at North Broadway is serving the family of Mr. Wilson.
