Judy L. Noble Hamilton, age 71, passed from this earthly world on June 28, 2017 at Fort Sanders Regional Medical Center in Knoxville after a long illness. She was surrounded by her family.
Judy was a retired registered nurse who attended Appalachian Regional Healthcare School of Nursing in Harlan during the early 70’s. She worked many years in Kentucky and Tennessee. Judy was known as an excellent caregiver to her patients. Judy loved her family, her home in Knoxville, working in her garden, and her special pets Duchess, Duke, and Bud.
Judy is preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Lillian Brock; and a son, Ralph Anthony “Tony” Noble. Judy is survived by her loving husband of many years, Tex Hamilton; son, Christopher J. Noble of Knoxville; step son Scott Hamilton ( wife Dorothy); sisters Wanda S. Lewis (husband Gary) Harrodsburg, KY and Clair L. Stines, Harlan, KY; Grandchildren Matthew Noble ( wife Roxy), Zachary Noble ( wife Victoria ), Anthony Noble, Quinn Noble, and Lauren Wood; Great grandchildren Chloe and Max Wood and Nash Noble; a host of nieces and nephews that loved her very much: Scott Gambrel (wife Laura), Tami Brock (wife Jennifer), Leighanne Lequire (husband Scott), Colonel Dewayne Lewis ( wife Sherry), and Dr. Adam Lewis ( wife Kim).
The family will receive friends Saturday, July 1, 2017 at Stevens Mortuary in Knoxville from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. A funeral service will follow at 4:00 p.m. The family and friends will meet 1:45 p.m. Wednesday, July 5, 2017 at East Tennessee State Veteran’s Cemetery in Knoxville, TN for a graveside service and interment at 2:00 p.m.
