Bobbie Jean Teague - age 88, of Knoxville, formerly of Eagan, Tennessee, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Wednesday, November 14, 2018 at Bee Hive Assisted Living in Powell. She was the youngest and last surviving sibling of Mary Ida and Craig Gillis Teague. She was a member of Trinity Baptist Church. Bobbie grew up and lived most of her adult life in Eagan helping run her father’s general store. She was never married and had no children of her own. She was a special “Aunt Bob” to many nieces and nephews and other relatives. She cared for her special needs sister, Ann, until her death. Bobbie showed great love for the children in the family and for her brothers and sisters. She was especially delighted by two little fellows, Mason and Jackson. She loved the simple things in life, such as nature, good food and she loved chocolate in any form. When she was no longer able to live alone, her niece Ida Love cared for her. The last 3 months of her life, she lived at Bee Hive Assisted Living in Powell. The folks there cared for her every need with kindness and compassion. The staff could not have been better. Bobbie remarked to one of the employees the night before she died that she was so tired and wanted to go home.
Preceded in death by 7 brothers and sisters, Joann Teague, Helen Sharp, Myrtle Millard, Lenna Hatmaker, Howard Teague, Varnell Teague and Charles Teague.
