Wanda Haroldine Capps age 74, of Knoxville, passed away peacefully at home on April 16, 2017. Haroldine was a member of Fulton High School's graduating class of 1961. She was a longtime member of City View Baptist Church and was retired from Associates Financial after more than 30 years of service.
Preceded in death by husband, Marshall Ray Capps, Sr.; parents, Harold Thomas, Sr. and Ruby Walker.
Survivors: son, Ray Capps and wife Stacey; daughter, Tammy Watkins and husband Sean; grandchildren, Kayla Cinnamon and husband Paul, Lara Meghanne Capps and Caden Watkins; step-grandchildren, Gabrielle Watkins, Sean Watkins, Jr. and Skylar Watkins; great-grandchildren, Zavyre and Lyrik Cinnamon; siblings, Frances Walker, Harold Thomas, Jr. and Betty Walker, Miriam and Jim Quick, Sr.; longtime friend, Gerri Faulkner; many nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews.
Family will receive friends 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday, April 20, 2017 at Stevens Mortuary, followed by a funeral service at 7:30 p.m. with Rev. Luckey Steele officiating. Family and friends will meet 10:45 a.m. Friday, April 21, 2017 at Greenwood Cemetery for an 11:00 a.m. graveside service and interment.
