Bowles, Wanda (Cameron) – age 77 of Strawberry Plains peacefully passed away at her home on June 22, 2012. She was a member of Indian Ridge Church. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.

Preceded in death by husband, James Hall Bowles; parents, Raymond and Janice Cameron; brothers Allen, W.L., "Shot"", Max and Faine; sister-in-law, Jean Cameron; brothers-in-law, Don Morgan and Everette Johnson.

Survived by sons, Duel of Knoxville and David (Jacie) of Raleigh, NC; grandchildren, Cameron, Abbey, Bailey and Conner; brother, Ray (Wanda) Cameron of Blaine, sisters, Bobbie Morgan of Chattanooga, Minnie Johnson and Barbara (Virgil) Stooksbury of Knoxville, Lena (Jim) Harrell and Linda (Bill) Ramsey of Blaine; brother-in-laws and sister-in-laws, Doyle (Nadine) Bowles, Paul (Anna) Bowles, Brenda (Kenny) Pate, Barbara (Ken) Smelter; many nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank Avalon Hospice for their loving care and kindness.
The family will receive friends 6 to 8 pm Monday at Stevens Mortuary, Oglewood Avenue at North Broadway. Family and friends will meet at 10:45 am Tuesday for a 11:00 am graveside service at Indian Ridge Cemetery with Rev. Dr. Marvin Cameron officiating.
