ROSALIND (ROSE) DOMBY STAPLETON - age 77, of Knoxville, passed away 5:21 p.m. Tuesday, February 28, 2017 at Fort Sanders Regional Medical Center.
She was a member of Alice Bell Baptist Church where she also served as a Sunday School Teacher, and had been very active in the church. She retired from J.S.K. Map Services/The Map Store. She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Ada Clark Domby; grandparents, Ed and Rosaline Clark, Steve and Julianna Domby.
Survivors: daughter and son-in-law, Amy Stapleton Perry and Joe C. Perry IV of Wilmington, North Carolina; grandson, Joseph C. Perry V; sister and brother-in-law, Sue and Bill Irving of Knoxville; niece and family, Emily, Kevin, Chloe, and Violet Layne of
Lake Wylie, South Carolina; aunt, Betty Domby of St. Paul, Virginia; and many cousins.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Friday at Stevens Mortuary, Oglewood Avenue at North Broadway. A funeral service will follow at 7:00 p.m. with Reverend Richard Spencer and Reverend Kevin Layne officiating.
The family and friends will meet 10:45 a.m. Saturday at Greenwood Cemetery for a graveside service and interment at 11:00 a.m.
