Corcoran, Pierce Kennedy (August 4, 1996-December 29, 2018) was a brilliant young man full of more faith, perseverance and more love than is seen in men twice his age. In his 22 years, he tried his hand at every sport possible, developing a love of golf, soccer, tennis and running 2 marathons in 2017.
He became an advocate for eating healthy and exercising daily. He was in the process of completing his personal trainer certification. He was employed at Fed Ex Express for the last 5 years and was a graduate of Grace Christian Academy class of 2015.
Awaiting him in heaven are grandparents, “Big” Jim and Sue Corcoran and great-grandmother, Daisy Collins, and great-grandparents Carlos and Ruby Witt.
Longing for him on earth are parents D.J. and Wendy Corcoran, sister and brother-in-law Avery and Timothy Pressley, brother Connor Corcoran, grandparents Benjamin and Elaine Witt, loving girlfriend Jade Adams and family, aunts and uncles Jan Milsaps (Jim), Darryl Thorpe (Jeanne), Marty Bowman (John), Sherry Witt, Missy Corcoran, Corky Corcoran (Paige) and a host of loving cousins.
Family will receive friends 5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. Tuesday January 1, 2019 at Central Baptist Church of Fountain City with a funeral service to follow at 8:00 p.m. with Dr. Tony Pointer officiating. Family and friends will meet at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, January 2, 2019 at Stevens Mortuary to go in procession to Greenwood Cemetery for a 3:00 p.m. graveside service and interment. Pallbearers will be dear friends and teammates.
