Cameron, Patsie Maghie age 78 lost her 28 year fight with breast cancer at her home on July 13th. She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Thelma Maghie; brother, Tim and her beloved husband of 58 years, Lee A. Cameron. She is survived by sons, Rob and wife Becky, Tod and wife Angela; grandson, Alex, who was the light of her life and "sister" Wanda Crumley.
Patsie was born December 3, 1933 in Pennsylvania and moved to Knoxville with her family in 1971. She was retired from Fort Sanders Regional Medical Center. She was a member of Washington Presbyterian Church where she was an Elder and was a charter member of Center Point Presbyterian Church in Alabama. Patsie was a charter member and past president of the Scottish Society of Knoxville. She and Lee were great friends to the MTSU and Atlanta Renegades rugby clubs and their home was known as "The Cameron Inn" by these teams who stayed there when they traveled to Knoxville. In retirement, she devoted herself to spending time with Alex and quilting. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Youth Summer Camp Program at Washington Presbyterian Church, P.O.
