Lucille Beeler age 97, of Powell, passed away Sunday, November 25, 2018. She was a lifetime member of First Baptist Church of Powell. Serving the Lord in children’s ministry was her “God Given” passion throughout her adult life. Only eternity will tell how many lives she touched. Lucille adored her family and was always intentional about personal quality time with each one.
Preceded in death by parents, Van and Elsie Butcher; husband, Arthur Beeler; son, Wayne; grandson, Randy; sisters, Evelyn and Retta; brother, Kyle.
Survivors: daughter and son-in-law, Patsy and Gary Raby; sons and daughters-in-law, David and Shirley Beeler, Larry and Betty Beeler; daughter-in-law, Boneda Beeler; grandchildren, Barry (Joy) Beeler, Staci (Danny) White, Brad (Kim) Beeler, Amber (Daniel) Brooks, Amanda and Adam Moretz, Allen Dockery and Wendy Lucero; 10 great-grandchildren; 5 great great grandchildren; brothers and sisters-in-law, Carl and Joyce Butcher and Van and Susan Butcher; sister-in-law, Betty Butcher; special neighbor and friend, Reva Phelps.
Family will receive friends 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Thursday at First Baptist Church Powell, followed by a funeral service at 7:00 p.m. with Pastor Phil Jones officiating. Family and friends will meet 10:45 a.m. Friday at Woodhaven Memorial Gardens for an 11:00 a.m. graveside service and interment. Pallbearers: Trey Brooks, Aaron Frank, Brad Beeler, Danny White, Steve Butcher, Clyde Reed, Daniel Brooks and Cole Grimm. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First Baptist Church Powell Children’s Ministry.
