WAGGONER, JOHNNY KYLE - age 89, passed away January 24, 2015.

He was a World War II veteran receiving the Purple Heart, and member of Lincoln Park Baptist Church where he served in many leadership positions. He was a Mason and past Chaplain of the Woodward Lodge. Preceded in death by his parents, Alvis and Myrtle Waggoner; three brothers; and three sisters.

Survivors: wife, Betty Waggoner; sister, Faye Hickle; brother, Hall Waggoner; and sister-in-law, Jewell Tiedeman; many nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 4:30 to 6:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 27, 2015 at Stevens Mortuary, Oglewood Avenue at North Broadway. A funeral service will follow at 6:00 p.m. with Dr. Jim Robertson and Reverend John Holland officiating.

The family and friends will meet 10:45 a.m. Wednesday at Greenwood Cemetery for a graveside service and interment 11:00 a.m.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Lincoln Park Baptist Church
