JAMES (JIM) IRWIN, JR. age 63, of Knoxville, passed away Friday, March 3, 2017 at his home.
He was a member of Lincoln Park Baptist Church and a retired pipefitter from the Plumbers and Steamfitters Union Local #102. He was an avid golfer and outdoorsman, and preceded in death by his parents, James Irwin, Sr. and Myrtle Fisher Irwin.
Survivors: brother, Joseph (Martha) Irwin of Oak Ridge; sister, Mary Lou Moody;
nieces, Amanda Hosford, and Lisa (David) McMackin all of Knoxville; great-nieces and great-nephews, Gabe, Lilly, and Mary Hosford, Aaden McMackin; several cousins.
The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Saturday at Stevens Mortuary, Oglewood Avenue at North Broadway.
The family and friends will meet 12:45 p.m. Saturday at Greenwood Cemetery for a graveside service and interment at 1:00 p.m. with Bill Vineyard officiating.
