Jack L. Fox, age 85, of Knoxville, beloved father and friend passed away Monday July 23, 2018 at Fort Sanders Regional Medical Center. He was of the Baptist faith. Veteran of the U.S. Navy. Jack was retired from KUB after 45 years of service.
Preceded in death by first wife, Barbara Jean Dew Fox; son, Jeffery Lynn Fox.
Survivors: wife, Myrtle JoAnn Fox; brother, Bill Fox and wife Janice; daughters, Jill Fox Gentry and husband Charles, Melissa Fox Koontz; grandchildren, Jamie A. Hull, Jeffery C. Gentry and wife Ashlee, Daniel S. Gentry and wife Emily, Ryan M. Koontz, Richard A. Koontz and wife Elizabeth; 7 great-grandchildren; special friends, Bruce Walter and wife Taci, Kevin Walter and wife Stacey, Robert Walter and wife Meghan, Gary Sharp and wife Janice, Troy Washam.
Family and friends will meet at 10:45 a.m. Wednesday at Highland Memorial Park for an 11:00 a.m. graveside service and interment with Dr. Tony Crisp officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the charity of your choice. Friends may call at their convenience Tuesday at Stevens Mortuary Oglewood Ave. at North Broadway.
