Helen Vickers King age 89 of Powell, passed away Tuesday, March 6, 2018 at her home. She was a member of Fifth Avenue Baptist Church and retired from Knoxville Mack Truck.
Preceded in death by husband, Billy W. King, Sr.; parents, Frank and Eula Martin; brothers, J.W. Martin and Roger Martin; husbands, Joe W. (Bill) Brown and Frank G. (Sleepy) Davis.
Survivors: son and daughter-in-law, Edward and Betty Vickers of Seymour; sister, Ruth Martin of Powell; step-daughter, Cindy Bounds of Knoxville; step-son, Billy W. King, Jr.; special friends and caretakers, Cynthia and Jill; best friend, Sheila Rogers; many devoted cousins, several nieces and nephews and a host of friends.
Family will receive friends 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Thursday at Stevens Mortuary. Family and friends will meet 1:45 p.m. Friday at Lynnhurst Cemetery for a 2:00 p.m. entombment service.
