HARRY EVERETT CARR - age 83, of Knoxville, passed away Wednesday, October 5, 2016 at his home.
He was a member of Lincoln Park Baptist Church and the Masters Lodge No. 244 F & A M, and Scottish Rite. He worked 47 years for UT Concessions and was retired from the Tennessee Department of Transportation. He was preceded in death by his wife, Frances Lucille Carnes Carr; and parents, Lawrence and Irene Everette Carr; and daughter, Sherry Carr Wright.
Survivors: daughter, Stacy Kim Carr; sons, Charles Wesley (Sharon) Carr, Perry Carr all of Knoxville, and Phil (Cathy) Carr of Oak Ridge; grandchildren, Jessica, Ashley, and Kasey Wright, Adam Carr, Justin (Erica), Jordan, and Jeremy Potter, Tyler (Brooke), and Sara Carr ; 7 great-grandchildren; sister, Mary Peeler of Knoxville; brother, O.T. Carr of Huntsville, Alabama.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Lincoln Park Baptist Church Building Fund, 830 Chicamauga Avenue, Knoxville, TN 37917.
The family will receive friends from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. Sunday at Lincoln Park Baptist Church. A funeral service will follow at 7:00 p.m. with Rev. John Holland officiating.
The family and friends will meet 12:45 p.m. Monday at Lynnhurst Cemetery for a graveside service and interment at 1:00 p.m.
