Geneva is survived by her son, Lorin (Marjorie) Underwood, son Alvin (Evelyn) Underwood, Daughter, Geraldine (J.W.) Hughes, son Douglas (Wanda) Underwood, daughter-in-law Cynthia Underwood, and sister Ulla (Tottsie) Williams. She was a grandmother to 17 grandchildren, 36 great-grandchildren and 20 great-great-grandchildren. She was, also, aunt to many special nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends Tuesday, May 3rd from 6-8pm at Stevens Mortuary, with the funeral service following at 8:00 with Rev. Justin Pratt, Pastor of Valley View Baptist Church, officiating the service. The family and friends will meet 10:15 a.m. at the cemetery for a graveside service Wednesday, May 4th at 10:30am at Woodhaven Memorial Gardens. Geneva's grandsons will serve as pallbearers and great-grandsons will serve as honorary pallbearers.
The family would like to give a heartfelt thank you to the staff at Kindred Northhaven Health Care and Rehabilitation for their friendship, love and care during her time there.
