BUNCH, FREDDIE RAY– age 74, of Knoxville, passed away Friday, July 1, 2011 at UT Medical Center.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Reba and Richard Bunch; sisters, Louise Thomas and Juanita Underwood; and brother, Roscoe Bunch. Freddie lived a full life, and was a loving, devoted husband, father, and papaw. He was a faithful member of 52 years at Black Oak Heights Baptist Church. Freddie touched the lives of many children in his many years of coaching baseball, basketball, and football. He will be greatly missed by all who had the honor of knowing him.
Survivors: faithful and loving wife of 52 years, Emma Lea Bunch of Knoxville; son and daughter-in-law, Jeffrey and Debbie Bunch of Karns; daughter and son-in-law, Angie and Duane Rhyne of Powell; grandchildren, Andy and Chance Bunch, and Colin Rhyne; sisters, Evelyn Ellis, Brenda Noe, Edna O'Shell, and Barbara Jones; several nieces, nephews, and many, many friends.

A funeral service will be held 7:30 p.m. Sunday at Stevens Mortuary Chapel with Reverend Steve Ross, and DR. J. C. Parrott officiating.
The family and friends will meet 9:15 a.m. Monday at Stevens Mortuary and go in procession to Greenwood Cemetery for a graveside service and interment at 10:00 a.m.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:30 p.m. Sunday at Stevens Mortuary, Oglewood Avenue at North Broadway.
