Bailey, Emma Sue--80, of Knoxville, passed away on Tuesday, February 4, 2014. Emma was a devoted wife, mother, and daughter. She was a member of Paw Paw Hollow Baptist Church and worshiped at Caledonia Presbyterian Church for many years.
Emma was an employee of Standard Knitting Mills and Kmart Corporation for over 41 years. She was an avid fan of classic country music, Atlanta Braves baseball, and Lady Vols basketball. Every one who knew Emma was always entertained by her unique humorous perspective of every-day life.
Her greatest joy over the last few years has been spending time with her granddog, Abby. She was endured many years of suffering, but she is now finally at peace.
Preceded in death by her husband, Paul Bailey; parents, Olif and Ada Hickman; brothers, Eugene Hickman, Tom Hickman, and Olif (Buster) Hickman, Jr.
Survived by daughter, Paula Bailey; granddog, Abby; brother, Bill Hickman; sisters, Linda Travis, Barbara Elkins, Mary Flanders, Brenda McSpadden, and Becky Cox.

Family and friends will meet 1:45 p.m. Thursday, February 6 at Caledonia Cemetery for a 2:00 p.m. graveside service and interment with Rev. Ronnie White officiating.
