DOROTHY PAULINE MOYERS - age 96, of Knoxville, moved to her heavenly home on Saturday, November 25, 2017. To know her was to love her. She always said, “the main thing is being together and having a good time.”
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Moyers; parents, Arlie and Etta Killion; brother, James Killion; sisters, Lois June Mays, Hazel Killion, and Rama Lou Dearing; son-in-law, Floyd Hensley.
Survivors: daughter, Brenda Hensley, son and daughter-in-law, Jackie and Carol Moyers, daughter and son-in-law, Dorothy and Lowell Farmer; 6 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, 12 great-great-grandchildren; sisters, Vivian Northern, Bobbie Ghormley, and Billie Buckner; brother, Vernon Killion; several nieces and nephews.
She was a member of City View Baptist Church. Graveside services will be
1:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 28 at Woodhaven Memory Gardens with Reverend Gene Hurley officiating. The family and friends will meet at the cemetery at 12:45 p.m.
