David A. Bolinger, Sr. age 75, of Knoxville, passed away Sunday, October 1, 2017 at Physicians Regional Medical Center. He was a member of Washington Pike United Methodist Church.
Preceded in death by wife, Carolyn Seymour Bolinger; son, David Bolinger, Jr.; parents, Donahue and Gladys Bolinger; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Ken and Marie Seymour; sister-in-law, Kennie Seymour; brothers-in-law, David George and Sam Marshall; niece, Becky Daigle.
Survivors: daughter and son-in-law, Kelli and Dwayne Elsass; grandson, Justin Estes; brother and sister-in-law, Delin and Gail Bolinger; sisters, Linda Miller and Mary Maples; brother and sister-in-law, Larry and Jill Bolinger; sister, Martha Marshall; brother and sister-in-law, Bo Bolinger and Tammy Money; sister-in-law, Becky George; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Kathie and Dennis Bowman; several nieces and nephews.
Family will receive friends 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Wednesday at Stevens Mortuary. Family and friends will meet 10:00 a.m. Thursday at the mortuary to go in procession to Greenwood Cemetery for an 11:00 a.m. graveside service and interment with Rev. Dr. James Bailes officiating. Pallbearers: Chris Maples, Lee Maples, Scott Marshall, Nathan Whaley, Scott Lee and Justin Gast. Serving the family, Stevens Mortuary, Oglewood Avenue at North Broadway.
