Tudor, C. P. age 87, of Knoxville, passed away Monday, January 23, 2017. Veteran of the U.S. Army serving in Germany during the Korean War. He was a graduate of The University of Tennessee and worked 38 years at Y-12. Member and Deacon of both Smithwood Baptist Church and Buffat Heights Baptist Church.
Preceded in death by parents, Mr. and Mrs. Earl Tudor; brother, Newport Tudor.
Survivors: wife of 63 years, Betty Tudor; sons, Tim (Diane) Tudor and Kent (Darlene) Tudor; grandchildren, Alisa Tudor Inman (Paul) and Nathan Tudor; step-grandchildren, Chelsey Benson Earle (Jarred) and Blake Benson; great-grandson, Jordan Tudor; sister, Violet Tudor; sisters-in-law, Tina Terry and Elaine Ridgel; numerous nieces and nephews.
Family will receive friends 12:00 to 2:00 p.m. Saturday at Buffat Heights Baptist Church followed by a 2:00 p.m. Celebration of Life Service with Rev. Dave Thomas and Rev. David Acres officiating. The family would like to give a special thanks to his longtime caregiver and friend, Dollie Norwood and also to Doctors Cameron, Durbin and Hendricks, and to nurses, Julie Heaton and Ed Peters for their loving care and kindness.
