Wrinkle, Betty Brice "Aunt Betty" age 80, of Mascot, passed away Saturday, May 12, 2012 at U.T. Medical Center. Betty was a member of Daughters of The American Revolution, Bonnie Kate Chapter and First Families of Tennessee. She was a graduate of Sacred Heart Academy in Cullman, Alabama and Knoxville Business College. Betty and her husband, Cleon, were the owners of White Sewing Center in Knoxville for many years.
Preceded in death by husband, Cleon Jennings Wrinkle; father, Stuart Brice; mother, Bessie Mae Brice Sheehan.
Survivors: niece, Cissie Wrinkle Vaughan; nephews, James Daniel Wrinkle, Jr. and Michael Jennings Wrinkle; special family friend, Jesse Adam Grove; numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Family will receive friends 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday at Stevens Mortuary followed by a celebration of life service at 8:00 p.m. Family and friends will meet 10:45 a.m. Thursday at Hopewell United Methodist Church Cemetery for an 11:00 a.m. graveside service and interment. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Hopewell United Methodist Church Cemetery Fund, 9300 Millertown Pike, Knoxville, TN 37806.
